Marius Arcioni

Born in Romania, grown up in Italy.

He studied Composition at G.Donizzetti Conservatory (Bergamo, IT) until 2014.

In 2015, he attended a Master in Music for Image at Civica Scuola di Musica C.Abbado (Milano, IT)

He studied several musical instruments such as bass guitar, timpani/percussions and piano and, also, studied privately Orchestration with Alberto Mompellio and Contemporary Music Analysis with Marco Lasagna.

In 2020 he got a First Class Honours Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at Film Scoring Academy of Europe (a branch of the Irish American College of Dublin) in Sofia (BG), with Derek Gleeson, Andy Hill, Norman Ludwin, Conrad Pope, Richard Bellis, Christopher Young among others.

 

He works as a freelance audio engineer for AAA videogame overdubbing (Pro Tools Operator 210P) at Keywords Italia.

He composes soundtracks and sound design for short movies and indie video games and he has a thriving production of classical contemporary music and avant-garde electronic (EMU).

In 2019 started collaborating as an orchestrator assistant and copyist Natale Massara and Pino Donaggio on several projects. ("Domino" by Brian De Palma, "Anemos" by Fabrizio Guarducci, "Spin Me Round" by Jeff Baena".

 

In January 2021 he composed in collaboration with the Maldivian composer Fachu Hussain, the music for the horror feature film "Kahalaaki" (Sin) by director Yosuuf Shafeeu and he was part of a team of orchestrators in support of the composer Ryo Noguchi for the soundtrack of "8 Years Old Dad". Again in 2021 he orchestrated,alongside Vasilis Milesis, “Symphony" by composer Bobby Tahouri.
